This study aimed to analyze the impact of young farmers’ perception of the usefulness of specialized agricultural education on educational outcomes and entrepreneurial intentions, while verifying the mediating effects of major commitment and academic achievement and moderating effects of self-efficacy. The analysis results indicate that specialized agricultural education positively influences young farmers’ educational outcomes and entrepreneurial intentions, with major commitment and academic achievement playing a crucial mediating role in this process. Additionally, self-efficacy—a moderating variable—was found to strengthen the intensity of major commitment and academic achievement. Overall, the findings of this study emphasize the importance of specialized agricultural education for young farmers, having significant implications for the development and implementation of practical agricultural education programs based on these insights.
