The relevance of this study stems from the fact that the rapid introduction and advancement of technology into the legal profession is creating a mismatch between existing laws and new social relationships. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to study the impact of digital technology on the modern legal profession and its legislative regulations, and to explore ways to improve and advance this field. This study examined the concepts of technology, disruptive innovation, digitalization, and artificial intelligence, and reviewed legal regulations on these concepts in domestic and international legal circles. It also identified key issues and risks associated with the use of digital technologies, including user security, privacy, and copyright. Using literature from the US, Japan, the UK, and Canada, it also explored solutions and legislative changes to regulate the technology sector. This study analyzed the impact of artificial intelligence on aspects of legal practice. It also highlighted the future vision and consequences of technology use in various areas of public life. It argued that digitalization and the introduction of technology into public life require legal flexibility and readiness for change, and that a balance must be struck between innovative change and the protection of fundamental human rights. Considering international standards, we emphasize that data privacy and confidentiality are key areas requiring additional protection in the digital age. The results of this study can serve as a foundation for improving the legislative framework governing the use of technology by lawyers, legal scholars, judges, prosecutors, and legislators. To remain competitive in today’s legal market, fostering a culture of innovation within the private sector, especially within law firms, is essential. Furthermore, even within conservative courts, innovation is essential to providing the public with the judicial services they demand. This includes not only adopting new technologies but also rethinking existing processes and fostering a mindset of continuous improvement. The future of legal sector innovation is bright, and new technologies and processes will continue to transform the legal profession.
