The sharing economy has gained wide attention in recent years. This study examines the factors that influence the use of shared study rooms as one of the sharing economy services. The study targets the current users of shared study rooms that operate online booking platforms in China. This study performed related literature reverend in-depth interviews with 20 users who regularly use a shared study room to identify major constructs used in this study, and adopted Technology Acceptance (TAM) and Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) Model as the theoretical basis of the study. To verify the proposed hypothesis, we surveyed 380 Chinese respondents and using SPSS26.0 and AMOS25.0. The results show that the quality of service and subjective norms of users of shared study rooms have a positive effect on users' perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. In addition, users' perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use exert a positive effect on their online bookings for shared study rooms. Furthermore, the user's perceived risk plays a negative moderating role in the user's intent to use process. Although the existing literature has studied factors affecting the use of shared study rooms from different perspectives, it seem to remain in its early stage and further elaborate research design is needed. It is particularly important to note that this study expands upon existing research by attempting to broaden the scope of theoretical realm pertaining to the use of shared study rooms.
