금형 관련 기업의 ESG경영 핵심역량 연구

The mold industry is a core field of the manufacturing industry that precisely processes metal and produces various products using the manufactured mold, and is closely related to other industrial sectors. However, due to problems such as rising manufacturing costs and manpower shortages, the mold industry is facing a new turning point. ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management is emerging as an important solution to overcome such a business environment. ESG management is rapidly spreading around large corporations, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are also becoming essential management items along with ISO. However, most of the domestic mold companies are SMEs, and there are significant differences in size, manpower, fund management, and ESG awareness education compared to large companies, so ESG management guidelines and support suitable for SMEs are needed. The purpose of this study is to analyze the application status of ESG management of domestic mold companies, strengthen it, and suggest ways to activate it after application. For the realistic evaluation of ESG management of domestic mold companies, the survey items not only reflected the characteristics of the mold manufacturing industry, but also reclassified ESG management into development, manufacturing, and support fields through brainstorming and surveys by experts. This study is expected to contribute to strengthening and revitalizing ESG management in mold-related companies and the mold industry.
