비기술형 소상공인의 구조적 취약성 형성 과정에 관한 질적 연구: 창업과 운영 경험을 중심으로

This study qualitatively analyzed the startup process, operating experience, changes in individual and family life, and recognition of policy support for non-technical small business owners in Gyeonggi-do. The purpose of this study was to interpret the difficulties of non-technical small business owners as a process of structural vulnerability that is formed and accumulated in the passage of time, not as a set of individual difficulties. As a result of the analysis, first, the participants' start-up was more of an alternative choice formed under life events and labor market conditions than a strategic choice centered on capturing market opportunities. Second, the initial lack of funds and restrictions on access to information were gradually accumulated, combined with rising costs, labor overload, and sales volatility during the operation process. Third, in the operating structure centered on single people and families, the management burden directly expanded to the living area, and caring gaps or diseases soon led to business suspension and income reduction. Fourth, digital transformation and policy support performed some buffering functions, but showed limitations in fundamentally mitigating structural vulnerabilities due to cost burden, information distribution, and procedure complexity. The above results show that the vulnerability of non-technical small business owners is a process phenomenon in which life conditions, resource constraints, operating burdens, living areas, digital environment, and policy systems interact and form and accumulate. This suggests that small business policies need to shift beyond short-term and segmental support to a structural approach that responds to the cumulative path of vulnerability.
