국내 공공부문의 과학기술성과 기반 기술사업화 촉진요인에 관한 연구: 국내 스마트 재활분야 기업의 사례분석을 중심으로

This study explores key factors that promote technology commercialization based on science and technology performance generated in the public sector, focusing on the structural characteristics of the transition from public R&D outcomes to market and social value. Building on the transition experiment mechanisms proposed by Van den Bosch(2010), the study applies an extended analytical framework to a case analysis of a Korean start-up in the smart rehabilitation sector(Firm A). The commercialization process is examined across four stages: Niche Formation, Deepening, Broadening, and Scaling-Up. The findings show that public-sector-driven technology commercialization proceeds through sequential processes of technological exploration, intensive learning, replication and validation in other markets, and institutionalization to secure credibility and stability, ultimately leading to regime-level diffusion. These results suggest that effective commercialization requires not only technological capability but also responsiveness to market and policy demand, along with continuous learning and institutional alignment within science, technology, and innovation policy.
