초록
2026년은 인공지능(AI)의 정착과 활용, 그리고 이를 둘러싼 윤리 및 안전 문제가 핵심 의제로 부상하는 전환기의 시점이다. 기후 위험의 고도화, 지정학적 불안정성, 기술 패러다임의 급속한 재편이 맞물리면서 비즈니스 환경은 전례 없는 수준의 불확실성을 보이고 있으며, 이에 따라 기업과 공공 부문은 전략적 민첩성과 기술 수용 역량을 강화해야 하는 중대한 도전에 직면해 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 국내외 주요 기관에서 제시하는 디지털 비즈니스 트렌드는 검증 과정의 객관성과 투명성이 충분히 확보되지 못하고 있으며, 학계의 분석 관점이 충분히 반영되지 않아 실효성과 신뢰성에 한계가 있는 것이 현실이다. 이러한 문제의식을 바탕으로 본 연구는 AI 중심 사회로의 이행 과정에서 무엇이 실제로 중요한가를 규명하기 위해 체계적이고 실증적인 절차를 적용하였다. 우선 국내외 ICT 시장 전망과 주요 기술 패러다임을 포괄적으로 검토한 뒤, 문헌 연구를 통해 도출된 후보 트렌드를 학계 및 산업계 전문가 패널을 통해 구조적으로 검토하였다. 이후 총 398명의 학계 연구자, 기술 공급기업 전문가, 기술 수요기업 실무자를 대상으로 대규모 설문조사를 실시하여 AI 기술의 정착, 활용, 윤리, 안전과 관련된 핵심 현안을 평가하였다. 이를 통해 본 연구는 단순한 트렌드 나열을 넘어, 한국적 디지털 전환 환경에서 2026년에 전략적으로 주목해야 할 AI 관련 과제를 실증적으로 제시한다는 점에서 기존의 기업 중심 혹은 개인 연구자 중심의 트렌드 보고서와 명확히 구별되는 학술적 의의를 갖는다.
Abstract
The year 2026 represents a pivotal juncture in which the establishment and utilization of artificial intelligence, along with the accompanying ethical and safety concerns, emerge as central societal priorities. Intensifying climate risks, escalating geopolitical instability, and the rapid reconfiguration of technological paradigms have combined to create a business environment characterized by unprecedented uncertainty, compelling both private and public sectors to enhance strategic agility and strengthen their capacity to adopt and govern advanced technologies. Despite these pressures, digital business trend forecasts produced by major domestic and international institutions often lack sufficient objectivity and transparency in their validation processes, and they remain limited by the inadequate incorporation of scholarly perspectives, thereby constraining their overall reliability and practical relevance. In response to these limitations, the present study employs a systematic and empirical approach to identify the issues that truly matter in the transition toward an AI-driven society. After conducting a comprehensive review of global and domestic ICT market forecasts and major technological shifts, the study extracted candidate trends through an extensive literature review and subsequently evaluated them in a structured manner with panels comprising academic and industry experts. A large-scale survey involving 398 participants, including scholars, experts from technology-supplying firms, and practitioners from technology-adopting organizations, was then administered to assess the critical challenges associated with the adoption, utilization, ethics, and safety of artificial intelligence. Through this process, the study moves beyond a descriptive listing of trends and provides empirically grounded insights into the AI-related strategic priorities that warrant attention in the Korean digital transformation landscape in 2026, thereby offering scholarly contributions that clearly differentiate it from corporate or individual researcher-driven trend reports.
