지역 산업구조 변화와 산업연관효과 분석: 2005~2020년 시계열 분석을 중심으로

This study analyzed the changes in the industrial structure and inducement effects of the local economy in Korea in a time series using the regional industry association table of the Bank of Korea (2005, 2010, 2015, 2020). In particular, the characteristics of the local economy and the links between industries were analyzed by analyzing major economic indicators such as the output composition ratio, location coefficient, production inducement coefficient, value-added inducement coefficient, and employment inducement coefficient. As a result of the analysis, it was found that since 2005, the regional economy has shifted from the manufacturing industry to the service industry and high value-added industry. In particular, in the metropolitan area, the proportion of service and knowledge-based industries has increased, while in the non-metropolitan area, the traditional manufacturing industry-oriented structure has gradually pursued industrial diversification. In addition, in the analysis of inducement effects, the inducement effects in the own region were reinforced with the growth of major industries, and the inducement effects in other regions also tended to expand in some regions. This study suggests that regional economic policies require a multi-layered approach that considers both regional specialization and inter-industry linkage, not just the growth of specific industries, and can be used as basic data for helping understand the changes in the industrial structure and inducement effects of the regional economy and establishing regional economic promotion policies.
