중장년 창업자의 창업역량과 창업성과에 관한 척도개발
A Study on the Scale Development for Entrepreneurial Competency and Entrepreneurial Performance of Senior Entrepreneurs

초록
본 연구의 목적은 중장년 창업자의 창업역량과 창업성과에 관한 척도개발을 하는 것이다. 연구조사방법은 중장년 창업역량과 창업성과와 관련된 체계적 문헌고찰을 수행한 후에, 델파이 1차 폐쇄형 설문조사(n=30), 델파이 2차 개방형 설문조사(n=30), 파일럿 조사(n=100), 본조사(n=500)를 수행하였다. 본 연구의 실증분석을 위해서 기술통계분석, 내용타당도, 구조방정식모형을 수행하여 다음과 같은 연구결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 중장년 창업역량은 인적역량, 기회역량, 조직역량, 전략․관리 역량, 관계역량 등 5개의 요인에 대해서 각각 5개 문항씩 총 25개 문항이 척도개발 되었다. 둘째, 중장년 창업성과는 재무성과, 비재무성과 등 2개의 요인에 대해서 각각 5개 문항씩 총 10개 문항이 척도개발 되었다. 셋째, 중장년 창업역량의 하위요인인 인적역량, 기회역량, 전략․관리 역량, 관계역량 등 5개의 요인과 중장년 창업성과의 하위요인인 재무성과, 비재무성과 등 2개의 요인 간의 구조적 관계가 규명되었다. 넷째, 척도개발방법은 혼합연구에 기초해서 문항분석, 내용타당도 분석, 구조타당도 검증, 이해타당도 검증 단계를 수행하여 통계적 유의성을 확보하였다. 본 연구는 중장년 창업역량과 창업성과에 관한 척도개발을 통해서 중장년 창업자와 창업기업을 대상으로 창업역량과 창업성과를 측정할 수 있는 체계적인 지표가 개발되었다는 점에서 정책적 시사점을 제시하며, 또한 중장년 창업역량과 창업성과에 관한 혼한연구의 필요성과 함께, 문항분석, 내용타당도 분석, 구조타당도 검증, 이해타당도 검증에 대한 이론적 시사점을 제시한 연구이다.
Abstract
This study aims to develop a scale for entrepreneurship capacity and the performance of middle-aged and older entrepreneurs. After conducting a systematic literature review regarding middle-aged and older entrepreneurship capacity and performance, the Delphi 1st closed-ended survey (n=30), Delphi 2nd open-ended survey (n=30), pilot survey (n=100), and main survey of middle-aged and older entrepreneurs (n=500) were conducted. For this study's empirical analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, content validity, and structural equation modeling were performed, and the following research results were obtained. First, a scale was developed for middle-aged and older entrepreneurship capacity with five items each for the following five factors: human capacity, opportunity capacity, organizational capacity, strategic and management capacity, and relationship capacity. Second, a scale was developed for middle-aged and older entrepreneurship performance with five items each for the following two factors: financial performance and non-financial performance. Third, the structural relationship between the five factors of the middle-aged and older entrepreneurial capacity, comprising human capacity, opportunity capacity, organizational capacity, strategic and management capacity, and relationship capacity, and the two factors of the middle-aged and older entrepreneurial performance, comprising financial performance and non-financial performance, was clarified. Fourth, the scale development method was based on mixed research and performed the stages of item analysis, content validity analysis, structural validity verification, and comprehension validity verification to secure statistical significance. This study has policy implications in that it develops a systematic index that can measure the entrepreneurial capacity and entrepreneurial performance of middle-aged and older entrepreneurs and startup companies. The study also presents theoretical implications for item analysis, content validity analysis, structural validity verification, and comprehension validity verification, along with the necessity of mixed research on middle-aged and older entrepreneurial capacity and entrepreneurial performance.
