공급사슬 내의 제조중소기업의 현금흐름사이클이 장기 기업성장에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

본 연구는 복잡해지는 경영 환경 속에서 공급사슬 관리와 공급사슬 금융(SCF)의 중요성을 강조하며, 현금흐름사이클이중소기업의 장기 성장에 미치는 영향을 분석한다. SCF는 기업 간 자금 조달을 최적화하고 공급사슬 내 모든 참여 기업의가치를 극대화하는 데 중점을 둔다. 본 연구의 연구 방법은 3단계 연립방정식 회귀모형을 사용했으며, 자료는 2019년부터2024년까지 국가데이터처에서 제공한 중소기업실태조사 마이크로데이터를 사용하였다. 연구 결과 현금흐름사이클(C2C) 이 길어질수록 장기 성장성 지표가 감소하는 경향이 나타났으며 현금흐름 사이클은 결제조건 및 공급사슬내 관계에 의해영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 C2C를 줄이는 것이 중소기업의 장기 성장을 도모하는 데 중요함을 시사하며 공급사슬내 관계가 중요한 것을 의미한다. 이를 바탕으로, 본 연구는 해외 사례를 통해 재고 담보부 금융과 같은 SCF 모형의필요성을 제안하고, 국내에서도 이러한 모형의 도입이 중소기업의 건전한 성장과 공급사슬 내 상생 협력을 위해 필요하다고 강조한다.
Abstract
This study highlights the growing importance of supply chain management and supply chain finance (SCF) in an increasingly complex business environment and analyzes the impact of the cash conversion cycle on the long-term growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). SCF focuses on optimizing inter-firm financing and maximizing value for all participants within the supply chain. The research employs a three-stage least squares(3SLS) regression model, using microdata from the SME Survey provided by the Ministry of Data and Statistics for the years 2019-2024. The empirical results indicate that a longer cash conversion cycle (C2C) is associated with a declining long-term growth indicator, and that the cash conversion cycle is influenced by payment terms and supply-chain relationships. These findings suggest that reducing C2C is important for promoting the long-term growth of SMEs and highlight the critical role of supply-chain relationships. Based on international cases, this study proposes the need for SCF models such as inventory-backed financing and emphasizes that introducing such models domestically is necessary to support the sound growth of SMEs and foster collaborative, win–win cooperation within supply chains.
