대학 지원정책 변화에 따른 국내 전문대학의 ESG 경영전략

· Research topics: The purpose of this study is to analyze strategies for introducing ESG management in Korean junior colleges under government financial support programs and the RISE policy environment, and to propose an implementation model tailored to the institutional conditions of junior colleges. · Research background: Higher-education policy is shifting toward sustainability and social responsibility; however, the institutionalization of ESG management and the policy response system in junior colleges remains insufficient. · Differences from prior research: While prior studies have largely focused on ESG management in four-year universities, this study is differentiated in that it proposes a policy-linked implementation model specifically for junior colleges. · Research method: This qualitative study synthesizes policy documents, prior literature, the University ESG Management Guideline V1.0 and domestic cases. · Research results: The results indicate that, for Korean junior colleges, an execution-oriented ESG management model integrating education, operations, and governance is more appropriate than strategy-centered alternatives. · Contribution points and expected effects: By presenting ESG implementation alternatives for junior colleges in linkage with the policy environment, this study expands the applicability of ESG research to junior colleges. Furthermore, the proposed model is expected to enhance junior colleges’ capacity to respond to government financial support programs and to strengthen their social credibility.
