지속가능 리더십, SPMS의 정교성, 그리고 경영성과간의 관계에 관한 연구

[Purpose]Recently, companies have emphasized sustainable management activities in economic, environmental, and social aspects to achieve management performance. In this business environment, corporate managers should have suitable sustainability leadership, and efforts should be made to build SPMS, a system that can measure and evaluate performance considering three aspects. Therefore, this study aims to empirically analyze the relationship between sustainability leadership, the sophistication of SPMS, and business performance. [Methodology]The questionnaire was distributed and collected to the business department manager level or higher of the top 600 manufacturing companies in Korea, and a total of 100 copies were used to perform the analysis. For analysis, empirical analysis and hypothesis verification were performed using SPSS and SMART PLS 3.0. [Findings]Sustainability leadership was found to have a significant positive (＋) effect on the sophistication of SPMS and business performance, and the sophistication of SPMS have a significant positive (＋) effect only on non－financial performance among business performance. [Policy Implications]The results of this study showed that managers with sustainability leadership will build SPMS elaborately, and the elaborately built SPMS improves business performance. This suggests that in order for a company to achieve business performance in a management environment that requires consideration of sustainability, managers must have sustainability leadership in advance and build a sophisticated SPMS suitable for it.
