SDGs-ESG 연계를 통한 대학 중심 지속가능 융합 실천 모델 연구

This study aims to propose a university-centered sustainable convergence practice model by examining the linkage between the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and corporate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management. While SDGs provide a normative framework that defines global sustainability goals, ESG functions as a practical mechanism through which companies implement and evaluate sustainability strategies in business practices. This study employed a qualitative research approach based on literature review, policy and sustainability report analysis, and comparative analysis of domestic university-industry collaboration cases. The analysis focused on identifying how SDGs-ESG linkages are implemented through collaborative structures between universities and companies. The results show that universities can function as an intermediary platform that connects SDGs values with corporate ESG practices by utilizing their integrated capabilities in education, research, design, and regional engagement. Case analysis further reveals that SDGs-ESG linkages are implemented through three types of collaboration: education-based collaboration, design and content-based collaboration, and regional community-based collaboration. Based on these findings, this study proposes a university-centered SDGs-ESG convergence practice model that integrates education, research, industry collaboration, and regional engagement. The proposed model consists of a cyclical structure including sustainability problem identification, ESG task matching, interdisciplinary project implementation, and performance diffusion and feedback. The study contributes to the literature by presenting a practical framework that connects sustainability education, corporate ESG implementation, and regional value creation through university-centered collaboration.
